Wafting smells

When you have a new ostomy it becomes a habit to check that there are no leaks. Any smell of pooh results in me quickly checking to make sure the bag hasn't exploded and begun to leak stool on my leg, bed, etc. I haven't had a leak yet but am very vigilant.

Today I was napping and suddenly wake because the air smells like pooh. I jump out of bed to quickly make sure I didn't leak all over the place. I see nothing wrong with my bag and nothing on the bed or on my leg. And then I notice where the smell is coming from. This is the third time the farty dog has made me think my bag busted.
