Off we go to jpouch surgery, 3 more days.

No fear yet.  Its kinda weird.  We can get used to anything.
I'll try to use my calmness to bring calmness to my hysterical family members.

Ciao!

  2. A spot opened up and my surgeon cares, I think thats why.

I think (feel) she cares because she got me a rush referral into a skin specialist, a lung specialist (due to potential pulmonary inflammation) and pre-op, all within the next 3 days.

  4. They take your intestine, fold it in half, stitch along the sides and sew it to your sphincter. This is a sort of "replacement" for a colon.

  6. I've already begun wiping my butt with rough toilet paper to get the skin ready! Oh, and lots of kegels, lots of protein shakes and parsley for clotting. (hopefully not too much)
