No fear yet. Its kinda weird. We can get used to anything.

The most loyal friend of all
But loyalty can be annoying. She hadn't seen me for a month after my last stay in the hospital. The first thing she tried to do upon seeing me was feed me (after yelling my name in joy). But loyalty can be annoying because she expects it all back in return and more. I still haven't honed my bird stroking skills and ability to regurgitate food into her beak. Guess I'm not such a good friend after all.

Good friend... But if she keeps farting under my nose, showing off that colon of hers she may just wake up one day on a bed of ice with a missing colon. I'd love to see the surgeons face when they open me up and find a 1.5 foot canine colon loosely transplanted into my body.
Junior, why are they doing the surgery early?

ReplyDeleteI think (feel) she cares because she got me a rush referral into a skin specialist, a lung specialist (due to potential pulmonary inflammation) and pre-op, all within the next 3 days.
what exactly is a j pouch?
ReplyDeleteThey take your intestine, fold it in half, stitch along the sides and sew it to your sphincter. This is a sort of "replacement" for a colon.

ReplyDeleteI've already begun wiping my butt with rough toilet paper to get the skin ready! Oh, and lots of kegels, lots of protein shakes and parsley for clotting. (hopefully not too much)
